CONTEXT
MSF Operational Center Brussels Supports more than 150 projects around the world with over 6000 operational people requiring ICT technology and data as support for their daily work. Our ICT systems are vital in ensuring smooth operations and transparency in our work.
We are looking for an experienced ICT Project Manager (ICT PM) and Scrum Master that eventually has grown out of a previous business analyst role, to join our ICT OCB team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ICT PM who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a non-profit environment.
As an ICT Project Manager (ICT PM), you will join the ICT PMO team and take end-to-end responsibility for a defined portion of the ICT project portfolio, managing projects from initiation to delivery using either predictive or Agile SCRUM methodologies. You will lead the collection of customer requirements and the development of functional specifications in close collaboration with domain experts. In this role, you will work closely with multiple departments to strengthen ICT portfolio performance, while partnering with domain specialists to gain a deep understanding of their processes and business needs.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive the lifecycle of assigned projects from Initiation to closing phases and delivery of project outcome to the domain champions autonomously

Apply predictive or Agile project management methods, ensuring high-quality project deliverables such as project plans, risk, stakeholder, and issue registers, burndown charts, prioritized backlogs, clear communication, and well-facilitated team meetings

Manage each project team using appropriate Leadership.

Assemble project metrics and present accurate situation and options for each project in Steerco Meetings and through Periodic Project reporting to the PMO (Project Management Office)

Represent Head of ICT PMO in meetings, acting as their delegate and ensuring accurate communication and follow-up on decisions
REQUIREMENTS
Education and experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related area of study

Minimum 5 years of ICT Project Manager experience, preferably in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including 2 years as a Scrum Master on a truly agile project, is mandatory

Minimum 2 years’ experience of successfully managing large cross-functional teams

ICT literacy on 365 MS Office suite (MS Project, GanttProject, PowerPoint, Taiga, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, Asana …)

Previous experience as a business analyst involving SDLC or process improvement activities is a strong asset

PMP, Prince2 or SCRUM certification are an asset
