Padel Without Borders

Join MSF for a charity padel tournament in the format of an Americano: short matches, changing partners each time, and individual point accumulation? 

The aim? Have fun on the court and try to finish top of the leaderboard! 

Whether you're an experienced player or a novice, this tournament is the perfect opportunity to spend some time under the sun, in aid of a good cause!

By playing under the MSF banner, you become an ambassador for those without access to healthcare.

Médecins Sans Frontières steps in wherever medical assistance is urgently needed. Our teams provide care for people affected by war, natural disasters, pandemics, or exclusion from healthcare systems.

In Gaza, our teams are treating the wounded amid ongoing conflict. In Myanmar, they responded to the 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck in March. In Sudan, they are battling the only officially declared famine in the world. And here in Belgium, MSF provides medical care to around 40,000 asylum seekers.

By joining our padel tournament, you combine sport, solidarity, and humanitarian engagement — while enjoying quality time with your loved ones around the courts.

🗓️ When and where? Three tournaments will be held this summer, each taking place at a different club: 

🕘 Friday 11 July from 6.30pm at Garrincha Gent
🕘 Friday 18 July from 7pm at Eleven Padel, Nivelles
🕘 Friday 22 August from 6.30pm at Tour&Taxis Padel Club

📝 Registrations will be open from May, 19. Registration is INDIVIDUAL.

The registration fee is €60. This fee covers :

• Participation in the tournament - 3 hours in americano mode with short matches of around ten minutes and a change of partners at each game. A final will be held at each tournament to determine two winners;

• Loan of equipment - don't worry if you're a beginner. The club can provide you with a racket and a padel initiation. Balls will also be provided; 

• A meal - tacos, pizza, appetizers, etc. depending on the club, a meal will be provided to keep you fed during and after the competition;

• Drinks - the registration fee includes at least 2 drinks; 

• A welcome pack - you will receive a small gift from MSF on arrival;

• A prize for the two finalists - surprise 😊

Places are limited! Make sure you register as soon as possible to avoid any unpleasant surprises. 

By registering, each participant commits to creating a fundraising page linked to the club they are playing for and to securing support from at least 5 different donors.

Your fundraising efforts help us continue our humanitarian work where needs are greatest, all around the world.

A prize will be awarded to the person who raises the most funds in each club. That means 3 winners, each receiving a great gift from their club.
