To respond to the current needs on the field, MSF IS ACTIVELY RECRUITING NURSES.

In order to increase our current recruitment reserve list and therefore respond to the needs of the populations we are helping today and will be helping tomorrow, MSF is actively searching for nurses available for a departure on the field in 2010. The priority destinations today are Haiti, DRC, Burundi and Niger. An additional training in Tropical Medicine is an asset but applications not responding to this request will be considered too.

Required skills

• Nurse / Midwife
• Additional training in Tropical Medicine or Public Health is an asset
• 2 years of professional experience
• travelling experience / living abroad
• previous experience as an international staff is an asset
• good knowledge of French and English
• proven ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Versatility and flexibility
• motivation and conscious will to be involved in humanitarian aid and to consider a professional career in it through several missions (supervision, ongoing trainings, different responsibility levels, projects diversity)
• Good physical condition
• Ability to deal with stress

 Conditions

• Fixed term contracts
• Full time
• Requested length per mission: 6 to 9 month

 
Only the selected candidates will be contacted to participate to our recruitment day taking place in our office in Brussels. The recruitment process is mandatory and lasts a full day. Expenses related to this recruitment (travelling, accommodation etc) will be borne by the candidates. We organize a selection day every Tuesdays.
