In order to respond to our current operational needs, the Operational Centre of Brussels is actively looking for gynaecologists / obstetricians.
Due to cultural aspects, priority will be given to female applicants as most of the contexts we are working in are accessible to female practitioners only. Nevertheless, male applicants are welcome to apply too.
REQUIRED PROFILE
- Being an accomplished gynaecologist with relevant experience.
- Working experience in a developing country is an asset.
- Knowledge of both English and French. Fluent in one of these languages is a pre-requisite.
- Ability and/or willingness to manage human resources.
- Ability and/or willingness to teach and to train others.
- Course in Tropical medicine is a strong asset.
General requirements
- Humanitarian motivation.
- Flexibility and adaptability to culture and environment with basic living conditions.
- Diplomatic and patient.
- Available to go on conflict-setting areas.
- Availability of three months minimum more is a strong asset.
- Team player.
